ILLOT STUDIO
Architecture rooted in Ibiza since 2007
Founded in 2007 by architect Robin van den Driessche, Illot Studio designs refined residential architecture across Ibiza en the Balearic Islands. The studio is known for creating timeless homes defined by clarity of design, natural materials and a strong connection to the Mediterranean landscape.
Originally established as RVDD Arquitectura, the practice has developed a diverse portfolio of new builds, renovations and interior design projects for an international clientele. Today, under the name Illot Studio, the studio continues to evolve while building on nearly two decades of experience.
The name Illot — meaning “small island” in Catalan — reflects the studio’s connection to the Mediterranean landscape and the spirit of island living that inspires its work.
The FOUNDER
ROBIN van den Driescshe
Born and raised in Ibiza within a family of developers, interior designers and builders, Robin represents the second generation dedicated to shaping the island’s built environment. His family was closely involved in the development and construction of the coastal community of Calo d’en Real, working alongside renowned architects André Jacquemain and Elías Torres.
With French and Belgian roots and an international outlook, Robin’s work brings together deep local knowledge and a contemporary architectural
perspective, continuing a long-standing connection to the island’s architectural culture.

Founded in 2008 by Robin van den Driessche, under the name RVDD. Illot Studio approaches architecture and design dynamically and multidisciplinarily. Our team comprises architects, interior designers, and engineers, and over the years, we have built strong relationships with a network of external collaborators. Now, almost 2 decades later, the team is growing, with more disciplines, and more expertise. Meet the team!
